Welcome to A Visionary's Outlook, a place where I share lessons, from traversing this journey of "life".
Perspective
" Multitasking is the art of screwing up multiple things at once. "

Story
Thursday, December 4th, 2024.
I was in fucking shambles, my attention was diffused between 5 different tasks, leading to nothing getting done.
I would be journaling on my day, then I would get a thought on what I should add to my website.
I would then work on my website and forget about journaling, which was more important.
(memory only lasts so long)
I would work on my website, thinking about how my day went; getting nothing done.
I went to bed with 25 reminders that day.
(I use my reminders app to jot down points of reflection)
It was in the 10 minutes of silence before bed, that I realized I lacked focus.
If I had just focused on my journals and jotted down my thoughts down for later, I would've completed both.
Lesson
⥤ Focus. Focus only on one given thing at any moment. Do it until the work is done. Whenever you have a thought, write it down somewhere and get back to focusing on your task. Flow state is not one to be reckoned with.
HACK: Have a notepad & pen in your proximity to jot things down. Writing > typing.
Challenge
➢ Block out two hours from your day. Throw out all distractions. Focus solely on that task. You will be amazed at what happens.
Remember, its who you become on the journey.
