Story

I had my wisdom teeth removed last week.
I rested to the extreme,
doing the bare minimum,
eating like shit,
and getting nothing done.

Then two days ago, I hit up a friend to rock climb. 
He said yes.
I took a quick nap and when he showed up, 
I tried to bail.
But he didn’t let me.
He called me out on my bullshit.

I'm so glad he did.
I had my best day that week.
Climbing all the way to the top,
Learning this sick ass hip throw judo move that I fell in love with.

He pushed me to unlock the “muscle up”.
I hesitated, but he believed in me more than myself.
He pushed and motivated me.

I ended up making more progress in an hour than I did in prior months.
And if I keep at it, I’ll probably have it down by next week.

Like damn.
